Kids and Families Pottery Class

Kids and Families Pottery Class Kids love our pottery classes! The class is all about sparking creativity and joy. We encourage and empower your child to exercise their innate creativity and your kids will have a blast exploring hand-building pottery and ceramics. Parents also welcome to attend this class with their kids and makes for a wonderful family event! Note that classes are held outdoors in our beautiful backyard garden studio. In this 1.5 hour pottery class you will learn how to make 2 pottery pieces. The first one will be a handbuilt piece, limited only by your imagination, and the second will be a wheel thrown cup. We will guide you through the process and teach you the basics for each technique and you can let your creativity guide you the rest of the way. Once you are done we will dry and fire the pieces for you, which usually takes about 3 to 4 weeks to complete. Then you can pick up the pieces and they will be ready to use! Please note, once you complete registration and payment you will receive an email with exact directions to our home studio in Irvine. What to wear/bring: Closed toed shoes with socks, long pants and clothes you do not mind getting dirty.

You can contact us to cancel up to 24 hours before the start of the workshop for a refund of your booking fee, minus a $5 cancellation fee.
